Toppscore and Retroverbial, let us agree that the current dynamic cannot continue. I'd ask that you both make a focused effort to get discussions back focused on the things that matter (music / gear) and quit snipping at each other. Much appreciated!

Thank you. Toppscore :D

I'm not sure why you're thanking me as my comment is directed at both of you, but ... you're welcome for at least interjecting my $0.02 into the conversation. All it should require is a quick look at Retroverbial's post count to know that he is a valued/seasoned/multi-year member of this forum, hence if the current dynamic continues we already know who's going to win, right? All I'm asking is that everyone treat each other with respect here and that statement goes both for newer members like yourself, and seasoned members alike.

Again. I thanked you for considering my several emailed requests for you,
a forum moderator or a forum admin for stepping in before more happened.
Again. I did not throw any first tosses. I will tighten up my responses towards
negativity and report any BS that is not friendly or not appropriate.

If I or someone else does not like something, move on ~ turn the page ~ or report it.
Name calling and controlling opinionated bullying won't work with mature members.
No need to start.

Truly sad! I hope it's short term but I can understand if it isn't. I dropped out for most of last November - February because of the increasing numbers of "whiners" joining the Forum. Too thick-headed to take a hint of what they were doing wrong and too thin-skinned to act mature.

I'll miss his wisdom and humor. :(

I agree with every single word you wrote tyronne especially your last sentence since it's still apparent with one particular poster as of late.

Man! This is all crazy. Isn't this supposed to be a Forum of ideas, opinions, and strategies to keep vintage Fender amps working? And these tube amps require a certain "hands-on" expertise and knowledge. There maybe several reasons why the topology of a unit is this-way-or-that. So, there has to be room for discussion of this-way-or-that strategies to fix these things.

Shouldn't become an arm-wrestling contest. Please, let's try to keep the discourse with this idea in mind (I'm sure Leo argued with his staff over circuitry designs). And not take things so personally & bring the "Principal" into the picture everytime there is disagreements.

The above sounds fine and understood, but I hope I've been clear at this point that if this continues, you'll be the one who ultimately gets yanked here. Retroverbial has been here long enough and (as you can see from the responses coming in here) is well respected by other members of the group - it's called "seniority." Treat him (and others here) with respect and chances are they'll do the same right back at ya!

Yes Yes Yes. Great. Glad to get this out in the open and put
an end to the snipping. Thank you so much for responding.
Greatly appreciated.

Finally. Back on topic. Yes, Cedar.
I do have plans for two this summer to be made custom.
Different than the normal 1x10 1x12 or 1x15.
My first attempt will see if I can get a 2x10 tone ring cabinet made.
Ten inchers with a bit mor punch. Should be same height and depth
as a normal 2x10 cabinet, but a few inches wider and heavier.
