Indeed we are, Reb. You have a nice touch and some of the best vintage tones I've heard......very refreshing.

Pay the pendejo no mind -- he's been booted off several respected forums already.

I predict he'll have a short "career" here as well.

Rawk on!

I have been thinking about this incident since last night's gig.
You know, gentlemen, I did not throw the first swing.
In fact, I never throw the first insults.
In fact, I usually wait an try to ingnore insults from the bullying types :x
But, this was the fourth incident over the past month.
I've just had enough of the bully approach.

So, I shot back. Notice how it continues? Just a bully

He needs to be right. But, HE drew first blood.
Since he is so kind to all you few who bow before his knowledge  ,
I understand why so many are blind to the rude comments, the bullying,
the "I am greater and more experienced than thou" attitude.

Go back and read his comments. And I am the bad guy? No way.

I am moving on. I had a great thread started until the bullying.
Don't bug me about RJ. Don't prejudge what you do not know.
Don't gossip. Just move on. Toppscore

Topp, I did just what you said, went back and read the posts. You might want to try using a less challenging approach...some of your comments are pointed...so when someone sticks that finger in your eye, you have no one to blame but yourself. And if you decided not to change your writing style, then try using a few positive emoticons to help folks understand if you meant to be an Assclown or were simply trying to bring a new thought or disagreement to a post. I don't always agree with everyones input here, but that makes it no less valid unless it is given in a mean spirited way.

And by the way, RJ has been unbeliably helpful on a couple projects I've done and never once asked for thanks or displayed a condesending attitude...And having played Fender Equipment for 40 years both for pleasure and proffesionally I am no noob. RJ has been nothing but a friendly and helpful guy and one I consider a friend of the highest order...you might try his approach and maybe your stay here won't be a short one :!:

It's not too tough to get along, on this board. We don't always see eye to eye with each other. I sure won't bow, nobody here is God ! Just a bunch of different people, with different styles of expression and opinions. Some of us have hung around here long enough to be friends, or at least get used to each other. JMO Art

You are right. If some one swings at me,
I can think on it before responding.
Sometimes, enough is enough.
Thanks for sharing.

Toppscore and Retroverbial, let us agree that the current dynamic cannot continue. I'd ask that you both make a focused effort to get discussions back focused on the things that matter (music / gear) and quit snipping at each other. Much appreciated!

Sorry Brad, I don't agree with this statement, at all.

Mr. "Toppscore" was offered help, including my post which I deleted, since he completely ignored and chose to test Arjay's patience and question his knowledge.

I try to stay away from all this BS, there's life outside this forum... but the way I see it, senior members of this forum, who are always ready and willing to help anyone, deserve respect. Without these members this forum would be completely useless for anyone coming here asking for help. I don't see any Fender employees helping out. If anything, people like Arjay and others here should at least get a thank you once in a while!

Sorry for the rant, you are the moderator here and this is Fender's world, so the last word is yours, but I do NOT approve of having someone like Arjay's name thrown in with Toppscore as the person causing all the headaches here.

I'm not sure why you're thanking me as my comment is directed at both of you, but ... you're welcome for at least interjecting my $0.02 into the conversation. All it should require is a quick look at Retroverbial's post count to know that he is a valued/seasoned/multi-year member of this forum, hence if the current dynamic continues we already know who's going to win, right? All I'm asking is that everyone treat each other with respect here and that statement goes both for newer members like yourself, and seasoned members alike.

Yep loose Arjay to another newby and i'll find him elsewhere and we will continue to learn from his experience.

Yep, he is a little unforgiving of foolishness, however you won't find anyone more willing to help you get through a tough project ! and has the chops to get you to the end !!

I've even gotten the "what are ya stupid" responses myself, ya pull up your big boy undies and learn, then ya move on.

Arjay and a small handfull of guys here openly share their knowledge and have spared me personaly hours of headache and countless $$$ at the hands of would be techs.

Peace to you all and show some respect !!!!!

We lost "bluesky636" today.

:(

I don't know the reason(s) but regardless of what they might be, it's a tragic loss to this forum and all who frequent it. He, shimmilou, and BMW2002ti are some of the finest theoretical amp technicians it's ever been my pleasure to know and I for one will miss him greatly.

RAWK ON, BILL......AND A WELL-DESERVED HAND SALUTE!

Arjay (respectfully)
