Here is a different one: Put up a picture of an amp you have, which the company is not around anymore, Examples: Magnatone, Silvertone, Supro, etc I'll put mine up later. I don't want to go first! Also tell us about it a bit.

I got this new in 1979 when everyone was playing tube amps back then. I'm glad I got it but, I wish I would have picked up a DR as well. It is 50 watts solid state. 12" Pyle Driver in there right now with a massive magnet. I need to find out more about the speaker it is the third one that I have put in it. Has a real nice clean and the drive gives you a descent dirty. This was the first ss amp I fell for back in the day!

Jac, I can dig those amps. Rebuilt a '55 Valco, play it most everyday. Sorry, I don't have a digital camera or cell phone, for pics. Your's looks like a neat amp. Art

Same here.

The last non-Fender amp I owned was a Sunn Scepter (head only). It was good and it was loud and it did what I needed it to do.

Used a Sixty-Five 410 Music Man, when I started with the Blues band. Eventually, put a Champ 12(it had that unbalanced line out) in the front end. That was a very soulful combination! Art

I just purchased this amp, and it just arrived.
Fender's Custom Shop Amp, Master Series developed by Bruce Zinky.
My new amp is a 1994, and considered to be museum condition & quality.

Back in the 1990's Fender wanted to build custom shop amps. They turned to amp master & amp builder Bruce Zinky. Fender started building boutique type amps before anyone ever caught on to this idea. They wanted an amp that was similar to a Marshall and the Tone Master was born. It features specs like point to point wiring and a Birch cabinet. Bruce Zinky also designed the Vibro King and the Pro Sonic. Of course the "Tone Master" is one of Fender's most unique amps with the Marshall tones and Fender tones.

The Fender Custom Shop amps were made from 1993 to 2000 in Arizona:
Specs: 100 watts Class A RMS into 4-8-16 Ohms, 2 channels, input impedance 1M ohms,
Birch ply head and cabinet, point to point wiring, effects loop 70 ohms,
and 2 Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, 3-12AX7A pre amp tubes, 4 6L6 power tubes.

Beauty of an amp! Nice score! I bet it sounds excellent! I read somewhere that Mr. Zinky helped in developing the original Pro junior, which is one of my favorite amps! It is a shame that later circuits were coming out with a hum problem. Nothing more anoying then a nasty hum problem on a tube amp.

Art - I also had a Music Man 410-65 that I played in high school through college. Sold it when I moved to a 5th floor walkup in Hoboken, NJ...

Before that, owned a '65 Hilgen Basso Grande with a 1x15 cabinet. Hilgen was an offshoot company formed by ex-Ampeg employees about 10 miles away from their old Linden, NJ plant.

Very cool Nedo!!! That Music Man served me quite well for years(couldn't afford a Super Reverb). Never heard about the Hilgen. But I bet that was one nice amp. Art

Yes, Zinky worked on the Pro Junior. I started a Bruce Zinky thread yesterday, to find out more about this famous designer.

Nedo, don't know about your experience, but my guy was stone-soul-solid ! Retubed it one time with Svetlana EL34's and a RCA PI(that was a 12AX7, right?). Just a great amp! Art

Sunn Scepter AND the 4x12 Cab. If I remember correctly, it was only 60 watts, But some of the most badass thunderous tone ever. You just don't hear a Sunn amp, you feel it!
I had a Dano DM10 too.
