Never used a Bumble cap in guitar. I have used Black Beauties. Similar tone? The Russian PIO (I like the 630VDC rated over 200VDC rated) really has that Jupiter Beeswax tone.

Still looking for photo evidence.

I have two major photo peccadilloes. 1.) the guts of amps. and 2.) fine female specimens of the Human race.

Remember, we are close friends and we compete
at contests, so please be nice.

She is very attractive, and all of the womens' comp outfits
are quite provocative. We are used to it.
You cannot win a dance contest now days wearing Puritan period clothing.

Maybe one of these days I will post some dance photos
or band photos. Till then. Take care. Toppscore

Yes, Topp, you're a lucky man indeed ! To digress, I've used those Russian PIO caps in my Valco amp and an Epiphone(Wilshire)guitar. Totally rebuilt the electronics: Gibson '57 pups, CTS pots, Switchcraft jack, Gibson pup selector, .02 PIO tone caps, and 22awg solid core wiring in the '50's configuration. Turned out great! Art
