I recently obtained a fender dual showman amp head. However it needs some TLC, also it says that it is a gabby amp from the Philippines so it's not really a genuine fender amp. I'm trying to gauge a price but i'm thinking it's probably only a few hundred dollars at best if that.

If you've already bought this amp, why the second-guessing and hand-wringing over the price?

It was actually given to me for free because the previous owner didn't want it.

Let's see here......

It's not a Fender amp, you've no idea what it actually is, you've provided no photos to help identify it, and you'd like to know what it's worth.

Is that about right?

Then it is worth nothing. Given away for Free?

If it is a working amp, probably $200-$300 bucks.
What kind of transformers, choke & tubes are installed :?:
Those are the valuable items.

Hey, if it works and you like it, retolex it into something cool and change the face plate
Over time, upgrade the tubes

Remember, sound/tone comes from four areas:
guitar play, pedals, the amp, the speakers.
Eric Clapton circa 1968 can make any setup sound good

I'm not sure how to post the actual pictures on the forum, but there's the links to them. I also have some tubes which I will take pictures of and put up later.

Salvage value only, I'm afraid. And that's contingent upon whether or not the components are even worth "harvesting".

I wouldn't put a dime into a basketcase like that.
