Question for the experts... I took out the reverb tank in the Victorilux and found it wrapped in bubble wrap inside the bag, never saw that done before, at least not in Fender amps...

I'm wondering if it was left in there when the amp was shipped new or it's meant to be there? Maybe to cut down on vibrations? I did remove it, didn't really notice anything different playing at home, but it does seem to be way too loose in that big bag, which could be a problem during transportation or even on stage playing loud... any ideas?

Thanks!

BTW this amp has one of the sweetest sounding reverb in a combo!

I have never seen a tank in bubble wrap attached to an amp. How are the wires connected to the tank? I suppose it would work, but wouldn't know the benefits of this arrangement.

Did Mark at Victoria ever get back to you on this, Cedarblues?

Well if you haven't seen it I haven't for sure :) The wires are connected like any other Fender amp, nothing special...
