Greetings,

So I've had a Fender 75 head in my attic for 10+ years. Some guy gave it to me when I was active duty Air Force in Korea. I am FINALLY getting it fixed. My question is about the effects in/out. Since the 75 only has one effects loop input in the back of the amp, am I supposed to run a y cable to facilitate send and receive? My "vision" is a male end on the single side that I'll plug into the amp and two female ends on the Y side for send and receive from the effects. Any thoughts? I'm trying to run a BOSS GT-6 through the loop but don't want to damage anything when I get it back. Any info on this strange effects loop is appreciated. Peace out!

The single effects jack on the amp's rear panel uses a stereo (3-conductor) cable/plug adapter to process both the "send" and "receive" functions. Here's the schematic......

HTH, and puh-leeze don't plead that you're a 3-level and cannot read a schematic!

That looks like a killer amp. A lot like a Pro/Super/Bandmaster Reverb, with an added loop, and no "vibrato". Cool.

Was this made in Korea or Japan, or...?

Shim...these were US made, if I remember right they were made at the end of the Silver Face era, right after they went back to black face trim (sort of) . This would be right before they hired Rivera and he came up with some of the II series amps. They had a 30 watt combo, a 75 watt head, and I think even a 130 watt head.
