Ahh the F15C from the Fighter Intercepter Squadron, McChord AFB WA, back in my old TAC Days I scheduled every single maintenance guy TAC-wide for F15 Field Training Detachment Maintenance Courses...worked my rear off getting them all into the appropriate course and school location. Best ride in an aircraft I ever got was a back seat ride in a "A" model F15 while at Tyndall...now that was a ride even a Corvette can't hold a candle too!

...damn fine job...a HUGE hand salute for the dedication to getting it right!

Its just an Epiphone, but its a samick built Epi, solid mahogany (three piece body) and it Rocks !

ARJAY I made the wife come in and see your work on that model, she was in awe also !

That epi was payment for resetting a bridge on a Gibson acoustic for one of the local pawn shops, i dont ask them for money just trade, they love that deal and so do I.

+1!

Seeing as how I had a current AF1274 at the time, my second re-enlistment "ceremony" was performed in a TF-15A from Langley AFB while cruising close to the Mach over the Atlantic ADIZ/ACM range. I was able to con my pilot into letting me handle the aircraft after he administered the oath thus logging about twenty mikes of stick time.

IT'S LIKE A DRUG YOU CAN'T BUY!

Arjay, it that 1:48 scale puppy? Beauty, like that A-10 Warthog. Friend built a pretty cool diorama of a Sandy straffing VC approaching downed USAC pilot. Some maight fine men served in Country. Those rescue teams are legendary. Like the Marine snipers.

Ever read "Death From Afar" series? Mawhinney and Hitchcock were some kinda hunters.

Those are great, Arjay. Thought the first pics were scale mock ups. My dad used to bring some home. You really have the talent!!! Monogram & Revell, that rattles the memory. Art

Thanks, guys.

You must live near Morton Grove, Art. That was Monogram's town back in the day -- just as Venice, California belonged to Revell. The two companies merged about 20 years ago. Today everything they make comes from the PRC.
