Rebel Soul...nice Deluxe Reverb. You guys got me GASING for a Deluxe. I may have to part with my SFSR and replace it with Deluxe Reverb!

Thanks T2!...the one pictured was used by a bluesman to record an album in Miami's Criteria Studio, somewhere I wrote down his name, but doub't I'll ever find it,inside, the circuitry is all blackface, there's more orange drop caps in it than I care for but it sounds great,so I'm leaving it as is.

We got the same date on the PT :) 6-37
My OT is 6-06 and RT is 7-33
Based on your date stamp mine is 3 weeks younger... was your stamp inside the chassis? Mine is on the outside, on the bottom by V3.

Say what??? Don't ever say that again! :) you must have one of each, the only amps you'll ever need, everything else is just a bonus...

Cedar...Don't dispar I haven't lost it completely...but I thought since I now have a great sounding Black Face Super Reverb...I might swap my SFSR for a Deluxe Reverb, of course it would have to be the right one to come along

And Reb as far as thinking "Rationally", nope that never comes into play when we are talking about GASing my friend :!: :!: And that DR is CLEAN inside!

That chassis looks all original as far as the things I can see...really nice!

I understand that also T2...rationality isn't one of my strong points when it comes to buying vintage Fenders.

Blue Molded's......the finest Fender tone caps there are. The finest there'll ever be.

I agree 100% RJ!...I love opening any amp I am looking to buy or have bought and seeing those blue moldeds.
I've wondered about the new Sozo caps touted to come close tonally to the molded caps,do you have any experience with those?
Like any other similar thing,I have my doubts....I just wonder if they're better than Mallory 150s,those are what I use.

Just like you, Reb......I've heard the hype re the new Sozo's.

Haven't personally used them yet though.
