You had Dennis Kager redo your amp! I would have LOVED to look over his shoulder while he was wielding his soldering iron. That guy has prolly forgotten more about Ampeg amps, than most "expert techs" ever knew.

I love that photo of him test driving Ampegs, on the assembly line, back in the 1960's.

Haha, yes. Very nice guy. I thought it was insanely cool to have my amp worked on by him over 40 yrs. later. I understand he was the QA Manager at the Linden plant. He tests everything. The amp still rocks with all the original tubes and Jensen speaker!

Get it done right, bring it to him while he's still around! ( I assume he's still around?).
