Nice little video from NAMM 2012 of Shane demoing the vintage styled pawn shop amps.

They look pretty interesting. The Excelsior looks like an old Valco. Its nice to see a moderately price tube amp with tremolo.

What surprised me about the Greta was the versatility of function. It doesn't interest me enough to want one, but it seems to be able to do a lot from iPod amp, to preamp, to mini head, to desktop amp. It almost seems to be something that could be sold outside of the normal Fender dealer and be something that could be sold at Target or Best Buy. In the big picture of things, I like to see that Fender is diversifying their product market.

If one popped up used somewhere and the price was right, I'd probably pick it up for kicks.

The Greta sounded good in person at NAMM - driving a 2x12 cab sounded great. At $199, it's a no brainer if you don't already have a <5 watt amp.

why they left off a handle, I don't know, but you're going to want to take this around.
