I know this doesn't compare to Arjay's stash... :D

Missing is the 1966 Reverb, 5F1 Tweed Champ, 1948 Champion 600 & 800, Deluxe Reverb. Model 26 Woodie. Not enough room. And I got lazy moving all this stuff.

And those dang Twin Reverbs, which are too dang heavy.

Nice.

So you have the amps all over the place.... sounds familar. :D

I've decided I need to design some way to organize my amps in one spot that will allow me to play them. (This is the architect in me - ) Right now they are just sitting around my media room helter/skelter. I am thinking a two shelf unit should accommodate the 8 "small" amps I own. I want to be able to have the amps plugged into a system that has surge protection. Then I can just pick and amp and play away. I don't like having the amps covered and hidden away. (FWIW- I play for my own enjoyment. I play everyday...... I keep a SF Vibro Champ and a Champion 600 RI in my office/studio)

The only other amps I see myself buying would be an early Gibson, a tweed Champ, and an old Valco or two. Something small enough to sit on top of the "display" unit as I find them.

I checked out my local shop.... they built shelves right on the wall and provided outlets behind. Most of the amps are plugged in - if not, there is quick access to power. We discussed keeping space for air flow behind the amps. (so I am thinking the unit has to be 2-4 inches deeper that the largest amp). I can have power strips installed that feed to a surge protector with a power switch that plugs into an existing outlet.

I'd be interested in hearing how others store/display their amps. Do you keep them plugged in? Any other thoughts. Thanks.

BMW...Nice collection there...and not suprized you got tired, those SFSR are 84+lbs! I especially liked the SFSR and BF Princeton...although I may be a bit biased since I own both of those too!

I like the idea of having a shelf unit, especially if you can get one that you could size out for various amps.

Thanks! All. And have a Great and Happy New Year! You know that Matchless Hurricane is no slouch either. I bought that thing in 1992 for $500. The iron and the Vintage 30 speaker. Pretty cool.

The Classic 30 has a Weber 12A125 in it. And is LOUDER than sin.

I play the BFPR and BFVC at home the most. You guys all know how the OD of those 6V6GT are.

Hey, take a look at this listing for "Guitar Legends: Peter Green." This songbook has a very good notation/tab fpr "World Keep On Turning." Anyone have one they like to sell?
