Just to add my 3 cents since we are way off topic: "ribs" and "crock pot" are three words that should never appear in the same sentence together.

+1!

Mrs. retroverbial makes some kickass crock-pot ribs. Coupled with my "world-class" BBQ beans, home-made cornbread and coleslaw......bon appetit!

:D

Hmmm. I thought that "crock pot" was slang for bad weed.

My gas grill always lights. :D I've been known to grill during a snow storm. You just have to stay close to the grill.

BS...Was even too windy for the Gas Grill...as for BBQing during a snowstorm...now THAT is dedication to the Art and a complete unwillingness to settle for anything else:!:

Well, sorry about hi-jacking your thread, but I think your original post pretty much ran its course. It really wasn't anything that any of us haven't been saying for some time.

Just don't like getting all the notices about this in my e mail. Don't really care about your barbecuing habits and it was my post. Forum etiquette please.

Sometimes stuff happens and threads get derailed. No need to get all huffy about it.

If you don't want to receive the notices anymore, try unsubscribing from this thread. Works for me everytime.

Yeah I quit the email notice crap,I'll look at this when I want to,it's not urgent business.
And FXA,for once I agree with Bill  your original post was a rant,we caution folks here all the time about the dangers and stupidity of working on amps with no experience...things here tend to get off topic if they get boring....things were clear,in your post...nuff said.
And Bill, just kidding....you're a sarcastic old geezer like me....and some others around here, not to mention any names....RJ!
