The seller has obviously misinterpreted the meaning of the stamp on the tube chart -- an all-too-frequent occurence on Ebay.

The market seems a bit down on BF Champs right now. Dealers seem to be below the $700 mark at the moment. I think they were being priced around $800 a year or so ago. Might be a good time to buy one if you want one. :D

The real question ..... who wants to buy anything from someone with a rating of 611, but has a positive feedback of 0%. Or better stated, why risk buying from someone concealing their feedback rating.

I always check the feedback of any seller whom I do not know -- and I read several pages of buyers' testimonials to get a feel for how I think my transaction might go down before ever placing a bid or punching the BIN button. If anything gives me pause I pass the item (and the seller) by.

Not to push the thread OT....

I don't think anyone would disagree with that (i do the same)..... but all of this guy's comments are "positive", except his positive feedback is literally 0%. Meaning he is somehow concealing his feedback rating. All the comments that you can see are about vinyl albums he's sold. And that they were packed nicely.

I have heard complains on another forum (comic books) where sellers/buyers are able to hide their full feedback.

So my question might be better stated ..... "Has anyone else seen where someone has a lot of points, but 0% positive feedback or its concealed.?"

There's something nefarious afoot.

I scrolled through the feedback on this guy and on page 13 (25 per page) I found this:

Very slow considering the expensive postage. Still haven't received item yet. Buyer: Member id prahcello ( Feedback Score Of 58) 28-Dec-04 11:50
Rating mutually withdrawn
Buyer and seller mutually agreed to withdraw feedback for this item. Learn more about calculating Feedback revisions- opens in a new window or tab.

And on page 19:

Reply by holyfeet0 (08-Oct-03 17:00):

Page 22:

With 28 pages (627 transactions) dating back to 2001 the odds are a couple deals won't be perfectly smooth even if you're an eBay ace. Doesn't seem overly terrible or scary to me. How do you hide your feedback percentage anyway?

Doesn't look like feedback is "hidden" (it's zero percent), but rather since the seller hasn't had any activity since 2008, the feedback percentage went to zero. The last 12 months time period is what the feedback percentage is derived from, no activity - no feedback - no feedback percentage.

My "Detailed Seller Ratings" were only shown after I had 10 ratings in a 12 month period. It didn't show for a long time, as I sold infrequently. Once I sold enough in the time period, the ratings show. With no selling for awhile, those ratings again don't show.

It all has to do with activity over 1, 6 and 12 month periods.
