Thanks phansford. I just get in a mood sometimes. Been real busy with my business and then we just started a new Blues band. So far so good. Very professional players. Harp, another guitarist, a great, dynamic drummer and a bass player who knows the Blues and worked with James Harmon. Cool stuff.
Anyway, Roy Buchanan was always incredible. My favorite stuff was just Roy, his Tele, a cord and a small Fender amp like a Vibrolux Reverb. I lost a little interest when he started using all kinds of effects.

Funny thing is when I was in High School in the early 70's, some of the guys I played with said I played a bit like Roy. I never heard of the guy until I saw him on some PBS special. I didn't think I sounded like him that much in the tone department, but my phrasing was pretty similar.
