Good morning! :D I bought an old 65 Princeton off my neighbor which sat in his garage for 20 years. I plugged in and it sounds great but, when I step up to the microphone I get shocked. I know there is a grounding issue but is it something I can take care of or do I take it to get serviced. I wanted to check with some of you vintage guys first before I do anything.

Does it have a two-prong power cord?

Have it replaced with a grounded three-prong cord before it kills you.

I agree with the above statement. I had my 2 prong power chord changed to a 3 prong chord and I stopped getting the shock through the on and off switch.
