For those interested, this tube is getting harder to find. It is a pretty good sub for the 6L6GC. Excellent sub for 5881. Be SURE to get the 6N3C-E (or 6P3S-E). The "-E" is mil spec and should have the OTK stamp of approval. Check carton for parameters used to test the tube.

Russian tubes? I'm no expert on my race, but that looks like Cyrillic.

Bux, yes they are Russian. There are really only a few countries still making tubes. Russia, China, and Slovakia. A partial hold over from military specifications---as many electronics in these countries still use tubes.

I had a few of those tubes from the early '90s (our shop had a lot of Soviet-era comm gear and I "liberated" a few under the provisions of glastnost) which I gave to a buddy to use in his Silvertone Twin Twelve. They really made that amp stand up on its hind legs and roar. Best Sears & Roebuck rig I've ever heard!
