This is on ebay if anyone is interested. I have no affiliation with the seller. I just found it on ebay, and thought maybe a player might want it. I can not afford it or it would be mine!

Hell, I couldn't lift the sonofabitch!

Fear not, though -- that amp, at that price -- will be listed and re-listed and re-listed until the seller either drops the starting bid to $650 or decides to part it out and unload it that way.

Hec, I'd love to have it in my living room. 8)
I can not imagine using it at any place I play. I would get thrown out..
Is this amp really only worth 650.00?

It's probably worth $750 to $800 but it's wise to set the opening price low then let nature take its course as arrogance, ego, and greed turn the bidding into a weenie-wagging contest.

When I see those (or Quad Reverbs) my back hurts just looking at them! But on the other hand, just look at those six fine sounding CTS Alnico speakers, those are tone monsters!

As for actually playing that rig, unless your playing a five or ten thousand seat arena, you will get kicked out for cranking that one up!

haha, back in the 80's I was playing bass through a Fender PS 400 and a bassman 412 cab. The head covered the top of the cab and sat about 12 inches off the top! The amp had a warning label riveted to the top stating it was 435 watts RMS and would cause permanent hearing damage! Club owners would ask me to turn down AS I WAS WHEELING IT TO THE BANDSTAND..LOL I sold it like an idiot..

heres a link to check it out..

LOLOL!

My bass-player brother routinely plays through a pair of Acoustic 370's. For smaller more "intimate" gigs, he uses a mid-70's Sunn Model T and a pair of Sunn 200S cabs.

I am currently using a GK MB115, and I love it. Single 15 with 200watts under 33lbs, but then again its nothing like that 400PS. Then again I was 23 back then, and much stronger than today..lol
