There can't be too many around and I think that's a chapter Fender would rather forget. Still I wouldn't mind having one as a conversation piece.

As well as their progeny, the Zodiac series.

Arjay and '88 Vette, Zodiac Series! I haven't heard or seen one of those dinosaurs in a good ten years. I think that the management was dipping into the candy jar, when they came up with that line.

And that solid-state Twin Reverb would make a great door opener, for a library. Dang thing looks as big as a small horse.

One thing about vintage ss amps. They are a pain to work on. You can find 20 NOS Mullard GZ34 or EL34 before you'd find one of those power transistors used in the 1970-80's amps. And has anyone here ever worked on a solid-state Standel? I won't go into details...

You mean the solid-state Standel's with each of the amp's stages encased in its own plastic "module" filled with epoxy resin?

Geez, what a goddamm joke those were!

BMW and Arjay...I thought you guys liked a challenge! Scared off by a really crappy SS amp? Shame!

Hard to believe they used the same name....Twin Reverb SS...just typing that seems wrong!

Cool artifact, might make a nice conversation piece, but even that would be a short conversation...hmm might go like this...

"Never saw one of those".
"Yeah they were POSs!".
"Yep"... conversation over!
