FWIW - There is a way to ignore forum posters.

Once you are logged into the forum, just click on the offending members profile.

You will be redirected to their profile page. Under their name is [Add Friend | Add Foe]

Just click on Add Foe.

"Foes are users which will be ignored by default. Posts by these users will not be fully visible. Personal messages from foes are still permitted. Please note that you cannot ignore moderators or administrators."

I add my first and probably only Foe this morning. I want to read posts from serious vintage amp owners. I'm going to see how this works. Seems that person's posts don't even show up :D I think this forum might get fun again.

I have put two members on the foe list and it works well,it gives you an option to read their post if you want to.
I had checked the first member I did that to and read a few of the posts wondering if he was worth reading again, but no...nothing has changed,so he will stay on the list.
Some people just don't want to add positive conversation, and some have no idea what the conversation is actually about.

LMFAO!

I suppose I'm on a few "ignore" lists but frankly, WGAS? Certainly not me!

I have nobody on a foe list. I'm hoping I'm friendly with all of our members.

Never knew about this feature. Does it also block "brain farts?" I'd be high on the list of blocking myself.

OT: Those 15-minute YT posts.... Goodness! Some of the most PAINFUL things I've ever witnessed. Was learning the axe that bad? I musta "blocked" it outta my memory. To that postee (FG1)... it'd be nice to setup the mike prior to hitting the record button. Just a thought.

That's what happens when one spends too much time with a Guitar Hero game console and not enough reading about the technical specs of a piece of gear.
