That's going into your Deluxe Reverb right?
Let us know how you like the new sound.....remember they get better with break in...you're gonna love it I think.

Weber is in and I played for about an hour at lower volumes. Tone a those levels seems to sparkle nicely and is somewhat warmer - bit more controlled sound if that makes sense. I really do like what I hear so far. More to come as she breaks in.......

It'll grow markedly more pleasant-sounding with each hour of play logged.

I can never describe sound all that well, but to me the new speakers sound tight, and as they " loosen up" some they get warmer and the tone becomes more refined.

I am excited to get "down the road" a bit with the Weber. Family is home tonight so I had to keep it a bit on the mellow side.

The break-in phase doesn't necessarily require a lot of volume -- merely some sinusoidal movement to loosen the suspension and the surround a bit. It doesn't even need to be a guitar signal -- any audio source will do, even a ten-dollar clock radio.

Yeah, really I tend to keep the volume down some during the first 10 hours or so also....I liken it to waiting till after the first 500 miles before putting the "pedal to the metal" on a new car engine.
