Post subject: Loud Pop and smoke

My tweed Champ made a loud Pop followed by smoke, but still works when I turn it on, what happened?

If my amp made a loud pop followed by smoke, I wouldn't turn it on again until I figured out what went. Otherwise, your tweed champ will get wrecked. Go to a good amp tech and have them diagnose; if you need recommendations by location, we're happy to help.

Again, DO NOT TURN YOUR AMP BACK ON.

yep,get it checked out....by a GOOD tech...get him to show you what it is,and let him replace only what needs to be and save the old parts.
