So I don't have an actual deluxe reverb, but I have NOS clone. This is a total rock machine, blues, jazz, rock, its got it covered. Question though, will the new fender footswitch work on it? The model that has two RC outputs, one for reverb and one for tremolo.

If it is a "clone" why not. And you have the two RCA output jack like the Fender , IMO it will work.

If the amp is wired to spec, the footswitch is not necessary to engage the reverb -- it's always "on" until manually switched off via the footswitch. Thus, in the interim you'll have access to the amp's reverb in any case merely by spinning the knob.
