Unscrew the jewel, with your finger, turn pilot lamp counter clocwise, about half turn ,and it will pop up.

You think the lamp is burn ? Not sure, a bad contact could be the problem. Plug and remove the lamp few time , it clean the contact most of the time. You can buy a new one at Radio Shack.

Retail sodomy!

You can buy a 10-pack of #47 bulbs on Ebay for around ten bucks.

I'm never in a ball-crushing rush and you can add in any local and state sales tax which might add another 10% to that $2.19 price. Five of those RS two-packs thus becomes nearly $11.00 then tack on another buck or so for the governor. Twelve bucks......a 20% surcharge for the gotta-have-it-now MTV generation. Retail sodomy.

The prosecution rests.
