Indeed.

The two enduring (and pleasantly so) legacies of the CBS era IMO were the drip-edge silverface amps and the block-and-binding "tuxedo" necks of the Jaguar, Jazzmaster, and Jazz Bass.

I always thought the Showman and the Super Reverb should've had a "tryst".

Think of it......an 85-watt head driving a pair of 8-ohm, 4 x 10 cabs (one bass-reflex, the other an infinite-baffle).

Drip-edge silverface cosmetics (natch!).
