I have a Fender Bassman 10 200 watt 4X10 combo amp. It's a late 70's early 80's model, and awhile ago I bought Groove Tubes for it. When I move it, occasionally the tubes jiggle loose. Is there anything to be done about that? Any secret remedies? It has an aluminum bracket around the tubes. Can that be tightened? A little gum on the bottom? Bend the posts? Any ideas?

Does anyone know how much that amp is worth?

Carefully remove the tube and adjust the retaining bracket's tension.

Is the retaining bracket the small aluminum sleeve around the top of the tube?

On my Super Reverb the small tubes have cylindrical covers that hold them firmly in place. The three larger tubes have clips (I'm not sure what to call them) that hold them in place at the base of the tube.

If your amp doesn't use these methods to hold the tube in, I would try to SAFELY bend the pins on the tubes slightly - without breaking the tube of course.
