Man,it sounds friggin fantastic!...the tone has that brownface mid to it with a sparkle in the highs, the bottom is good, not as bold as the Super with it's 2x10s....so it doesn't overpower the chords...it stays clean with those 6L6GCs more so than the Deluxes with the 6V6s,just has more headroom. The note definition is really what I noticed first when strumming, you hear all the notes in a chord.
I haven't really gotten it past 5 yet to see what it would do with breakup because it's pretty loud...I will though...I believe it will be a good amp to use an OD pedal with, haven't tried that yet,I've just been listening to the clean sound, but it has a kind of smoky quality to it...not much, but like it's been seasoned with a good pepper sauce. :)

I think you're ready for a 6G15 now, Reb. A little stand-alone tank reverb will do nothing but improve your already-outstanding selection of "browns".

Excellent looking amp. I like the cig burns and stains.... shows the amp was used and loved. And now you'll continue to use and love it. What a lucky amp!!! :D

Au contraire, mon amí.

You do indeed have some "cool" stuff.

Which makes you part of "the gang" already.

You need to shoot a "family portrait" of your entire herd, Reb.

Folks would pay money to see pics like that.

  I doubt that RJ...not with guys like you around.
I might get the pic someday,I was thinking about it but I'll bet I can't get 'em all on without a mess of wires..it won't look as neat as your family portrait. :D

Thanks cherokee...she does in fact sound sweet...I've been wanting one for a long time,I'm not disapointed. :D
