One is up for sale locally for $300.

Is this a good price?

What should I ask about?

If it's junk, is it worth getting anyway and nursing back to health?

Thanks up front!

Yes to both questions.

If possible, remove the chassis from the cabinet and take a look at the innards. Look for evidence of monkey business or any other tampering. Use any that you find as bargaining leverage. Likewise, check the tranny numbers for originality -- they should all be stamped 606-6XX (some may be marked 606-5XX).

Best of luck, HTH

Pedals are a must if you expect any dirt from the amp. It's just as loud/clean as a Twin Reverb. Most stompboxes will work well with it.

Unfortunately this thing sold quick. The guy didn't even return my email. Oh well.
