I really liked what he did with my GCB-95 wah - true bypass and installed the Fasel inductor - much better tone, and the wah now hits the amp harder. I find I use it a lot more than I did before.

Been very happy with not only my Keeley-modded pedals, but also his compressor, the Katana boost, and the Keeley Fuzz - great fuzz that plays well with other pedals.

I have the Keeley TS-9 Baked-Mod-Plus. I find it to be a good booster pedal when you want to step forward for a lead break but it seems to me to be a bit muddy for chording with anything as large as a triad or bigger. Two strings at a time are about as much as I'll do with it.

Hmm - I've used mine for breakup on my Princeton Reverb (controls at 10, 3 and 2 o'clock) and chords work fine. I'm also using a Tele with a Duncan JB in the back.

Our other guitar player used it with similar settings on an AC30 and it did fairly well on chords.

Not as well, mind you, as my Timmy/Direct Drive combo, but the TS9 is what I use when we're practicing and I didn't bring the full pedalboard with me.

As always, it's a case of different strokes for different folks.
The guitarist's quest to find that perfect tone is entirely subjective.
That's why there are so many amps and pedals available.
Everyone has a different idea of what works best.
This is a place to express opinions.
It's perfectly normal that some people will disagree when an opinion is expressed.

Know what? I would be willing to bet that some of us here have some of the smokin'est tones around, considering our amps and guitars...and no doubt, talent!

Excellent point, Reb.
A noticable part of tone is in the physical hands of the guitarist. At least with players who use low to mid gain settings in the drive stage, that is.
