I really Like the sound of this amp but my only guitar is a Les Paul that sends it into overdrive pretty easily. I would like to know what amp you guys would recommend for that fender sound but would allow me a clean sound at a louder volume.

The later Blackface and Silverface amps had two inputs. Input #2 was padded for humbuckers. Of course, that meant everyone plugged their Les Paul into #1 to get that overdriven sound.

I don't know if either input #2 or #3 on the Harvard is a padded input. But you might try that.
Or add some external speakers.

Otherwise, work with the volume setting on the amp and the guitar until you get the clean sound you desire. But you need to remember - typically these tweed amps break-up early - even with single coils.

+1

You might also try substituting a 12AT7 for the 12AX7 in the V2 (phase inverter) position. That might yield more clean headroom.

Vintage amps?/clean louder volume with humbuckers?
It depends on how loud you're going to play....two great choices, but pricey...
1. Blackface Vibrolux Reverb, one of the alltime greats, especially with h'buckers.,it will get loud but breaks up also...35-40 watt range,2x10 speakers.
2. Blackface Deluxe Reverb,22 watts 1x12 speaker, even the Reissue DR,clean but will overdrive at a lower volume than the Vibrolux.
Most people in choosing a classic Fender amp that will do most things at moderate volumes will pick one of these.

I have been considering the DRRI , truth be told mostly what I do is with these things cranked into natural overdrive but it would be nice to get a clean tone at the same volume.

Just for those interested I replaced the speaker with the jensen reissue so I would not be beating on a 53 year old speaker and I have to say in this amp they sound so close you cant tell them apart.

No blackface Fender -- whether clean, overdriven, or anywhere in between -- will sound like a tweed because the circuit architectures are nearly diametrically opposed. If you want "louder" and "cleaner" tweed tone, you need a more powerful platform......say, a 5E8 or a 5F6. But neither of them are capable of producing the traditional AB763 tone.

Tweed Twin and tweed Bassman, respectively.

Like Bro. Arjay,I've had several of the different types of Fender amps,Tweed,Brownface,Blackface and Silverface....the Browns are a great in-between sound, from the Tweeds and Blackface amps..the tweeds that I've had were a little grittier at the desired volume, and the Blackface amps are brighter.
I had never had a 2x10 amp until the '60 Brown Super, that amp is holding it's own against every other amp I own...it sounds full, with rich harmonics and it doesn't get thin like my Deluxe Reverbs do at notes higher than the 12th fret.
I'm currently getting my sights set on two other amps to own in the future,I'd like to have a Brown Vibrolux and a BF Vibrolux Reverb...as far as I know the Brown Vibrolux was the only Fender with 6L6GC's and a single 12" speaker....that's a good combo.

Indeed.

I've often thought that if I was ever fortunate enough to score a trashed Tremolux head, I'd build a 1 x 12 combo cab and clone it into a non-verb Vibrolux.
