I see that the cabinet widths are different according to the Ampwares site. 25 inches for the BMR and 26 inches for the PR. The chassis components and controls are all the same so why would the chassis' be different widths?
I am asking because I have a line on a early 70's PR cab I wanted to use for a BMR chassis for a vibroclone thing.
Do any of you have know these measurements to be accurate and if so why the dif.
Thanks in advance....

The Bandmaster Reverb chassis shares its dimensions with the Super Reverb.

Thanks Arjay......I realize that. But I was wonder why the Pro Reverb is shown as having dif dimensions than the SR or the BMR when the layout seems to be identicle.... :?:

It is what it is.

It'd be logical that the Pro Reverb would actually be narrower than the Super Reverb since it lacks the SR's middle tone control in the vibrato channel. The fact that the circuits aren't the same (AA165 vs AB763) wouldn't really be a factor.

Who can say?

agreed....actually I dont know about the chassis' but the PR cab is said to be a inch wider than the SR or BMR cab. Was just trying to verify that.
Would love to find a home for my BMR/VRC chassis without having to buy new. The older cabs have to have better tone...right...

Buying one or building one yourself are the only options I see. You can periodically find JD Newell's cabs on Ebay for around $250 or so -- about what it would cost to assemble it yourself, were you so motivated. Of course it would all be contingent upon how much of a "purist" you are about specifications. Very few cab builders build a true Leo-spec enclosure. I only know of one......

so I look in my 50 years of Fender book and the Pro Reverb cab and chassis are the same as the twin from what it says. Thats why the PR chassis and cab are slightly larger than the SR and BMR.....
