This amp REALLY sings with big a Weber ceramic 8-incher. The 8F150-4 ohm, 25 watt fits fine. And the amp has a a great range. You do not need to remove the chassis or even the precious tubes, as long as you are careful (stupid statement, I know). I'm using it more than my Princeton or Pro Amp, at the moment. Single-ended amps have some kinda tone, when setup right.

Works in SF VC's too:

When the original OEM Oxford alnico in my '68 Bronco finally bites the dust I'm gonna try a Weber alnico in it.

Reb, Thanks! The BF VC came with Telefunken ECC83 (the two are prolly worth more than the amp). The RCA's came out from deep inside one of my hiding places.

Nice.

I've got a Weber 8A125 in my 73 Champ. At first I didn't care for it, but it got much better after break in.

Here's what it sounds like with no effects (reverb added in post). Rhythm guitar on the right.

I'm definitely liking that, PTM.

Prolly sound just as ballsy in my Bronco.

Well yeah, given that the Bronco is the same amp.

Here it is with a Barber 1/2 Gainer in front of it. I'm on the right with the rhythm again: http://soundcloud.com/main-street-exiles/gimme-shelter

Those little single-ended honkers really bite when you stomp on them hard.

Love it!

(nice arrangement too, BTW)
