I have a `63 Princeton thats dirty and I would like to clean the tweed. Does anyone know of a good cleaning agent that won`t harm the fabric ?

I had the same query - Chet Feathers (CaFeathers) told me this:

"I bought a used tweed amp several years ago that had stains from people setting drinks on it. I found that "Woolite" makes "Spot and Stain Wipes", so I bought some. They are easy to use and they took all the stains and dirt off of the tweed without damaging the tweed."

So there you go :)
