I know most here don't use EL34/6CA7, but FYI... the recent version of EH6CA7 appears considerable more rugged in construction than the older models. Some dude is currently running them in his Music Man (which puts nearly 700VDC onto the plates!!!). I'll prolly try them out in those M-B's that originally took special requirement STR-416 tubes.

If you do buy some, be sure they have the "OTK" mil spec stamp on them.
