I just bought a silverface Bandmaster Reverb off eBay.
I was wondering what if any brown or blackface faceplates will fit it.
I don't really care what model name is on it.
The amp has already had several mods "blackfaced etc" so originality is not much of a concern and I like the blonde look best. I have not received the amp yet but I know the grill cloth needs to be replaced and the tolex is in average shape for the age.

If the amp is the original AA768, AA1069, or AA270 layout -- middle tone control in vibrato channel only, and no master volume pot -- the blackface Super Reverb front panel is a drop-on fit.

It's a 71 has three knobs on the normal channel.

The clear coating on the face is lifting and coming off another reason to find another one.

That's a very common syndrome of most silverfaces. The blackface Super Reverb face plate will fit perfectly. I've done quite a few panel swaps myself over the years. If you have plans to clone your head to a Vibroverb, that panel will also fit (though the middle tone control will need to be disabled and removed). Marsh Amplification sells blackface repro "FEIC" panels for most of the vintage models, including the Super Reverb and Vibroverb. I see them listed on Ebay for around $53 all the time.

Thanks Arjay! The Super Reverb plate will be perfect.

Would you happen to know the part number for the reverb tank in a bandmaster?
The tank and tubes have been removed from the amp at some point.

No I don't. But any full-size Hammond-type tank suitable for one of Fender's blackface re-issues will be suitable. You'll also need the bag for the tank, a pair of RCA cables, and a couple of fasteners to screw the tank to the inside of the valence (it mounts horizontally but flipped on its side instead of flat on the bottom of the cabinet). Check Angela Instruments on Ebay -- Steve usually has all that stuff in stock.
