I have a 1983 Fender Yale Reverb amp. I noticed on the spring reverb there is an input and an output RCA jack. Does it make a difference how the reverb is connected to these, i.e. what happens if the input and output are accidentally switched?

Likely the reverb will not operate if the tank is incorrectly wired. No permanent harm should occur though.

It's wont hurt anything if it's in backwards but it just won't make any reverb sounds. The red plug goes in on the right
