PS
The 35 watt C12Q Jensen wannabe is what came with the amp, Sounded O.K. , the webers allways add life to any amp i have swapped out the pretend Jensens for.

For an Alnico this thing is pretty tight ! remember this 5E3 is only putting out around 18 watts.

Webers! I love them,it made mine sound so much better.
Remember the volume controls should be interactive and the tone can change if you crank the knob on the channel you're not using....lots of tonal possibilities. :D

Not sure if its in my head, but the Mic channel sounds warmer than the instrument.
I will check out the interaction later.

Webers are very sweet indeed.

This is inherent in the 5E3 design and part of the mystique. You'll finds loads of sonic flexibility jumpering the channels whilst diddling the knobs. Looks like a seriously well-built clone.

Rawk On!

AH HA !!! so I can jumper the two like my bassman, More tone fun !!!!!

I sure wish I knew how to make a harp moan, I have a few just can't get them to talk the talk, I'll bet this amp would sure sound sweet with one.

I even have one of those cheap Mics made from a tea strainer, sounds low fi for sure, however a good harp player can get real dirty with it.

I honestly think this amp is mine till death do us part, I've whinned every since I sold the Victoria 20112 and this sounds as good or maybe a touch better ( a bit more headroom).

WelL I have a nice collection of harps and the right mic and amp, now if I could just play one LOL !!!!

Always said If I could sing I would throw away the guitars, but everyone has their talents and I have mine, singing and harp playing is not one of them for sure.

I know a snot nosed teenager that can make ya cry with his harp playing, he just picked one up and started playing like he had been a pro for years, makes ya want to slap the boy, LOL again !

So......?

Buy him some kleenex then ask him if he'd like to join your band.

I think My son and his buddies are cool with me helping them get their start.
Imagine if you will.
Over weight graying red headed dude jamming with a bunch of 18 and 19 year old boys
trying to impress the girls,(not me, the kids) I'm thinking I'll let them have the stage, i'll stick with the old guys blues jams and coffee house open mic nights.

It is fun to play in the style of the recently departed Gary Moore and watch the teen boys mouth hang open when the old guy cranks it out, I never get tired of their expressions.

They usually say to my son "Dude your dad can jam" !!!

LOLOL

When my daughter turned 21 she and all her HS friends came to a local watering hole we were playing at to celebrate their new-found maturity and hear us blow the sheetrock off the walls. I thought one of them was gonna wet his pants when I launched into my Comfortably Numb solo.
