High. Just bought a Fender bassman head. 71-72 era. 50 watts. One of the tubes is bad. Its says 6l6gc on the tube. Can I replace them both with 6l6's? are the 6l6gc what they should normally have?

Thanks

You may use matched pairs of 6L6GB's, 6L6GC's, 6L6WTB's, or 5881's in your amp. Be sure to have the bias checked (and adjusted if necessary) when doing so for optimum output and tube longevity.
