recently acquired an original 65 twin reverb but it has some problems and after removing the chasis, looks like someone tried to mod or replace some components such as pots, caps, etc. i would like to have it refurbished to its or as close to as possible, its original condition using all matching tubes for the amp and preamp. it also has the original black insulation board for component mounting. should this stay as is or replace with a printed circuit board. this job may be bigger than i anticipate so could someone tell me a reputable shop than can do the work for me without fear of being ripped-off or taken advantage of. i would like to use this amp with my 72 tele...thanks in advance for any infromation and advise given.....

Hi! If you live near Montreal there is a reputable amp repair guy which will make your amp sound like new. He only uses OEM parts. Don't even think about changing to a printed board circuit. Best amps are and will be point-to-point amps !
