You can flag a "bad" post by clicking on the red exclamation point icon at the bottom of the offending text box, but this isn't a circumstance for that. The gentleman has a different opinion and we should all respect that. But I do not take being called out as a "poseur" or a "wannabee" lightly, nor should anyone else. I offer assistance and wisdom based on 45+ years of association with Fender gear in a professional environment.

So somebody doesn't like the way I part my hair (what little of it that remains).

Who friggin' cares?

Everyone here in entitled to their opinion, but there's no need to attack one's credibility cause you don't agree with them! That ain't a way to communicate...

Be "gentle" with it. I generally only flag if it's a cheeze-dick hawking some product or an obvious troll.

I don't know the gentleman from Adam but if he gets six large for a custom bass I say "more power to him". I wish I could charge those prices for my work!

He has some good ideas and far be it for me to cast aspersions upon his bona fides. The forum can always use another experienced hand here and I suspect he's no "ten o'clock scholar" when it comes to gear. I hope he rejoins us.

JMO......

The guy has been here before under a different name,I'm sure I've read that same "I build basses and sell them for $6,000" line before...when there was a similar difference in opinions and he was stating, his "credentials".
And from the way he started in on RJ,he had an axe to grind.
Just my 2 Confederate pennies. :D

It did seem so.

But I'm an optimist at heart and not given to succumbing to petty vindictiveness.

Que sera, sera......what will be, will be.

Welcome back, Ion!

What type of aircraft do you work on?

I'm partial to the F-4 myself.
