Hi all. I have recently joined an all 60's group (Turtles, Paul Revere, etc), and thought what a perfect excuse to dig out my old Super 6! I just got it back from the shop to ensure everything is working, and it is.
One question I have is hooking up the reverb/vibrato pedal. I can get vibrato out of it, but canNOT get any reverb. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong? Am I hooking it it incorrectly? Can someone send me instructions on how to hook the peadl up? Maybe the reverb tank is bad? How can you tell? Please email all replies to clifsmith@aol.com.

Thank you!

I would plug the vibrato into the reverb plug and see if it works,if it does then it's the switch. It might be a bad solder joint or the switch is just faulty. If it still does not work i would take it back to the shop an complain you just had it serviced they should of looked that over.

The reverb will operate without the footswitch connected, the tremolo will not.

It sounds like you need to find a new tech.

+1 and get a truss for when you haul that fridge around. Just kidding. I've rented them way back. Them and Quad Reverbs. I wound up getting a Twin because it was easier to lift LOL. Yep, like Arjay said, the reverb operates without the footswitch.

The only Fender combo amp ever made that should've carried a CPSC/OSHA warning that recommended a "two-man lift". The old 8 x 10 Kasino was even worse (but at least its cabinet was designed with a built-in hand-truck).
