Hey Ya'll,
I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday! With the holiday, I wasn't able to get as much done on the amp model as I would have liked but I have added a few more things...casters, amp corners, etc..

The chassis is more or less done...at least as done as it's going to get for now. I ran in to a couple of problems so for the moment I'm not going to bother to model the "inside" of the chassis or any of the wires, but from the "outside" it looks fairly close.

I did take a few small liberties with the placement of the jacks and such...it's all based on yet another image so it's pretty close but not exact (and yes, I know that ground lift switch is supposed to get side-to-side and not up and down...I still need to label the fuse receptacle as well).

The next big thing I'm probably going to work on it the Fender logo...unfortunately I have -NO FREAKIN' IDEA- how I'm going to make that. I have a pretty suitable font but trying to extrude it in that particular shape...I REALLY dunno how I'm going to do that (I'm still very much making all of this up as I go along!). I have a feeling it's gonna get messy or at the very least, quite tedious. I'm also not really happy with the amp corners (which still need screw heads) and I discovered that I made a few screw ups with the round overs on the cabinet as well (forgot a few).

Either way, it's getting there. I still have quite a bit more work to do, but over-all I think it pretty much looks like an early to mid seventies Fender Twin Reverb...which was the general idea :-).

Enjoy!
Jim

Here you go......

Convert this to a gif with a transparent background and you can drop it wherever you wish. It's even got the screws installed.

thanks...the problem is that it's flat. I actually have a number of Fender logos I can use...just applying a jpeg there isn't really a problem. The problem is that, like the amp itself, the logo is going to need to be "3D" (like an actual logo)...and that's the part I'm not sure how to do yet.....
