I have had the good luck to run into an original '63 Tube Reverb. I've been looking it over and I found that the tubes that are in the preamp are 6K6 GT for the power tube and the other tubes are identical, they are 7025. Now, on the little tag pasted inside the reverb cabinet, the tubes to be used are 6K6 GT, 12AT_ ... something or other, I can't read the last character and 7025. (The manufacturing date code, by the way is NC, as near as I can tell, the "C" is a little hard to make out. It was made in '64, for sure. The production number is 24.)

The '63 Tube Reverb reissue from fender shows the tubes to be used are 12AX7, 12AT7 and 6V6 for the power tube.

So, who is right? Have I got the right tubes in already? One thing I am noticing is that the reverb effect is a little shallow. If the tubes I got should be doing the job, could it be that they are worn out? They are old RCA tubes by the look of them.
