I play cont. christian and blues.. I have a hillsong lincoln brewster sound if that helps.. this isnt my main amp but would like to use it for small gigs and practice.. any input would be awesome!! thank ya'll for your time.

The original speaker is likely a ceramic Oxford 10K6......not very efficient but more importantly, not particularly toneful either. I favor the alnico CTS 10-inch driver as used in Fender's vintage Super Reverbs. I have one in my '65 Princeton Reverb and it positively sings. For a more "modern" tone, the Eminence Ragin' Cajun sounds good and is relatively inexpensive.

Whatever your choice, do not discard your amp's original speaker. Store it for safekeeping lest you decide to sell the amp and the buyer wishes an all-original example.

Best of luck, HTH

+1 I would get a new speaker like a jensen or a weber and hold out and find someone to do a recone or if you can find a vintage speaker on the internet

Weber, Tone Tubby or Scumback, but not Jensen, they are not the same quality as before.

I use Webers, and have had a Jensen that came in a '57 Deluxe Reissue,it sounded okay, but not as good as the Weber I replaced it with.
It's my understanding that the RI Jensens are made in Italy, they're just labeled Jensen...the Webers are a close match to a vintage American made Jensen.
