I THINK im LOSING SOME INTENSITY OF REVERB ?IT DOESNT FEEL AS INTENSE WHEN I DIAL IT UP TO 8 OR 9 . FROM 5 to 10 itgets LOUDER NOT MORE INTENSE.iT FEELS LIKE im losing strength so to speakShouldnt it get more intense as I turn the dial higher? Not just louder? Perhaps im just getting immune to the reverb tone(this could be my imagination) Perhaps this is a warning that the tank is going? REgardless Im getting it checked!!Can u please give me some common warning signs of reverb failure? Or are reverb problems pretty well black and white ,Like I mean the reverb works or it doesnt work? THANKS!!!!!

Doubtful that it's the tank. More likely, it's the reverb recovery tube (V4, a 7025) getting tired.

May want to check the driver is a strong 12AT7. Also, possible bad reverb choke.

Not that uncommon. Fender reverb driver are pushed hard. That's why they use 12AT7. Really, the reverb circuit is like a mini-amplifier. The 12AT7 can take much more bias current than a 12AX7 (10mA idle bias versus 1-2mA). But, they also wear out faster. I like JAN-Philips (Sylvania) 12ATWA or WC best. These military spec tubes are hardier than horse poop. And not that $$$.

Like Arjay sed, check the recovery 12AX7,at the same time. I like Tungsol reissued 12AX7. They are pretty tough, too.

If you have a DVM... check the continuity across the reverb choke, just to be sure it hasn't got a break or short.

Good luck!

The only time I had a reverb failure was in a Mesa Boogie that uses the same type spring pan,the spring broke, and I had to buy a new pan.
Most of the time it's a tube like the guys have said.
Being new to tube amps means you usually don't have to freak out when something doesn't work just right, they can be fixed!
People who think we're old farts who just don't know we should be playing through solid state amps haven't seen how tough the amps are and how stubborn we are.

A shot of contact cleaner on the tube pins and all(4) of the reverb's RCA plugs wouldn't hurt. Art
