You even replaced the chassis?

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Close. Pulled all parts. Steamed cleaned & simichromed it. Thought I'd do a complete overhaul, like I do with some bikes and cars. BTW... You ride KTM's? I used do race them in the desert. 2-stroke 250cc. I just sold a restored Husky 125cc.

I ride a 1992 Honda CR500. Power sure beats good skills.

Very cool Beemer ! I too used to race desert and flattrack. My first bike was a BSA 441 Victor, talk about a desert sled. My last bike was a '72 Husky 400. Used to ride in the Mojave, outside Palmdale and Pearblosom. Art

I too owned a "Beeza Four-Four-One" back in the day.

I used to beat that thing like a rented mule......it always got me home though.

Here's some shots of my (mostly) original '65 Princeton Reverb......

It's got a replacement cap can, a replacement CTS alnico speaker from a '67 Super Reverb, and an added standby function using the now-unneeded ground switch. It's a low four-digit serial number, A 05444, and the tube chart says it left Fullerton around the time that LBJ decided to escalate US troop levels in Vietnam. The amp sounds as sweet as the day it was new.

Good God on-a-mountain, Arjay ! Those were the days ! That Beezer turned me into slidin' fool. After the first time on a short flattrack, there was no turning back. Couldn't keep up with the Trackmaster 650 Triumphs on the longer tracks, but could stay right in the hunt on the short track. OK, that was my time down memory lane, thanks for the indulgence...Art
