I recently inherited some music equipment and accessories. I didn't realize how scarce these tubes were. I thought the quality would at least be matched up by now.
I have a quad matched set of 4 RCA Black plate, 6L6GC tubes, that I'd like to sell to a local Arizona musician. The reason being, is that most local businesses that have music in common, usually know each other on a first name basis. I just had the tubes tested at Antique Electronics where they can verify the quality of the tubes and test ratings. This leaves little room with having to deal with flakes on either end. I don't trust ebay and won't go near Craigslist, I'm sure some will agree with me as well.
My dad took good care of his equipment and did a good job of keeping my brother and I away far away from his stuff.
Please contact me if this sounds like something you can use.

Thank you,
Leslie

Hey, I know this point is anal... but, I think those boxes pre-date the actual tubes. And yeah, some buyers are picky enough to know the difference in terms of $$$. Lettering on tubes seem late 1960's, early 70's. Boxes look late 50's, early 60's. FWIW.

Quad matched 6L6GC's command good $$$. Thanks in part, to Fender amps. BTW... another good source of NOS 6L6GC are Canadian made Westinghouse BP 6L6GC. Mid 1960-early 70' vintage They test and sound as well as NOS RCA (IMHO).

I've had some of those Westinghouse 6L6GC's from the "Great White North", BMW.

Excellent glass!

They also made some 6CA7/EL34's that IMO were superior to both Phillips and Mullard.

Hi
I am in Phoenix....not sure if it would work out hooking up....I just bought a Fender amp that uses 4 and am going to have caps etc checked....and wouldn't mind changing the tubes as I'm pretty sure the originals from 1978 are still in the amp. Let me know if you are interested and /or still have them. I live near the Cardinal Stadium and home a lot as I am a teacher....lots of time off.
Later Keith
