I have a Twin Reverb that has not been used in 5+ years. I turned it on today, and I'm not getting any Vibrato (Reverb is fine). Any thoughts on the cause(s) and the fix(s) would be greatly appreciated.

Also, the foot peddle causes static. Probably no good?

This amp is for sale with two willing buyers, so any help on the Vibrato would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Charles Brown

Hi there Charles and welcome to the forum. I'd try some contact cleaner spray on the TRS footswitch plug. If you have a multi meter, check the continuity between the plug's sleeve and tip,as you operate the Vib footswitch. The reverb switch is on the ring section of that same plug, how does that part of the footswitch work ? The sleeve on the plug is the ground. If you want, this might be a good time to use the contact cleaner on all of the tube pins. The speaker plug could also use a shot of cleaner. Good Luck ! Art
