I just picked up a 1974-75 Fender Twin Reverb with blackface mod and EV SRO12Ls in them for a great price. It sounds amazing. It is so loud though but it is called ROCK and ROLL not sleep and roll. OH man my wife is going to be so pissed this is so awesome i cant wait to see her face. In your face wife! God i hope she dosent read this.

She won't have to read this....when you blow her eardrums out with that twin....she might leave you.

Congrats on a great score, JK!

You'll need not ever fear any gig situation......

Now THAT'S a rig!
I love it.

If they were mine I'd use an A/B switch in the pedalboard so I could use the SFTR for cleans and the BFTR for the crunchies. Maybe even an A/B/Y switch so I could use both at once just in case the bass player upgraded to a Boogie 400+.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

A single TR with an extension cab is my primary amp (this is the primary, shown together with its mirror-image back-up rig). I've only used both simultaneously once -- at a 3-day outdoor biker rally. Our bassist had to mic his vintage tube SVT to keep up.

If you can't run with the big dogs, just stay on the porch with the puppies!

Did you lean way back with your long hair hanging down and hawk a loogie 6 feet straight up in the air and slightly behind you while soloing?

Visions of Zakk Wilde dancing in my head with a bank of amps like that ...

Reminds me of when I was a kid. I had a brand new '66 TR which sat
on top of a matching extension cabinet wth 2-12'" Goodmans,
monster magnets. I don't think I ever had to dial past 4.
Used an old Zonk Machine fuss and an echolette.
Ever since those days I've had a ringing in my left ear but
getting an unlisted ear helps a lot.
I'm older and wiser now and so is my amp. '62 Super.
