Hey Guys, got another prob. have to gig this weekend, and I only have one speaker in my twin, can I do this? I play blues, so, the amp really does not get pushed. I know that it is a four ohm, but with one speaker it is eight, right? thanks!

Hi there Ric, you've got one speaker wired up and running it into the main speaker jack ? Sure that should be OK, if the speaker is rated for 100 watts or so. Art

Geez, if you were local I'd loan you a speaker.

I must have half dozen 12's laying around here.

Good luck and try to keep your output level reasonable until you have that other driver repaired.

Yeah Arjay, I guess you've done a good amount loaning and giving away, of equipment. When I had players bringing in their Marshalls and the like on Thursday and a gig on the weekend, it was" well if we can get the tubes or parts, maybe."(I was still operating the semi fulltime) Then I'd tell 'em,"you might have to settle for the Band Master or the Twin Reverb." And man, did their eyes light up. That stuff always turned out good. Any way, what you know about Buckeye ? Worked on a scrubby cattle ranch there one summer(19 yrs old). Art

Buckeye is one of those places I always avoid after a few "interesting" experiences there. I'll either gas in Quartzsite or Gila Bend. Whenever I pass that area I roll up the windows, lock the doors, and un-snap the thumbbreak on my holster......

That nice ? Actually never saw the town, just a bar&grill out on the highway and a gas station once a week. Got the grunt-work job during college(1969) to earn some money and ride my dirt bike on my days- off. Art

Let's just say it's a "wretched hive of scum and villany".

I'm actually Nevadan by birth......only lived in AZ since '84. But I did spend some time at Luke Field and Gila Bend gunnery range years ago in the service.

You an ASU grad?

No, Cal State Long Beach. Grew up in the Santa Monica Mts.CA. Had a friend from Eloi(spelling?) who got me the job. Not a bad gig, learned how to pull and put-in fences, dig out and clean water ways, work on wells, and more importantly wear a Stetson. Art

Hey Ric, my stomping down memory lane isn't relevant to your thread!!! I apologize!!! How'd the gig go with the Twin, using the one speaker? Art
